50 Years In The Medical Education Field
Dr. Frank Moya, Chairman of the company, has dedicated the last 50 years of his professional life to medical education. As a former chief of the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Miami, Mount Sinai Medical Center and Dean of the University of Miami School of Medicine, he has successfully organized programs for interns, residents, post-graduate physicians, nurse anesthetists and anesthesiologists.
These programs included continuing education seminars throughout the world and, for the past 35 years, the highly successful home study courses, "Current Reviews®".
The organization consists of a Governing Board and two divisions, the CME Committee and Management International, Inc. Dr. Moya is the Chairman, President and CEO of the Company (FMCEP) and functions as the Senior Director and Chairman of the Governing Board and CME Committee.
The Governing Board consists of four members including two anesthesiologists, an attorney, and the President of the administrative division. Its sole responsibility is to review with the assistance of the CME Committee and the administrative division (Management International, Inc.), the CME Mission and evaluate the effectiveness of the overall CME Program:

The CME Committee, consisting of thirteen members, reports to the Senior Director (Dr. Moya) and functions as the educational arm of FMCEP and provides medical expertise and peer review for our Continuing Education activities. Eight of the eleven Committee members are nationally known leaders in the field of anesthesia.
